School Announcements







School Events:

Report Cards:    Report cards for Kindergarten are issued twice a year.  These report cards will be  issued January 30, 2012.

Field Trips:
January 31st, 2012:  The first grade students will be going to the Zeiteron Theatre.  Students will leave midday  and will return before the end of the day.

NO NAMING CALLING DAY
January 25th, 2012: Governor Deval Patrick has designated January 25th as “No Name Calling Day” in Massachusetts to increase public awareness of the devastating effects of verbal bullying, to encourage students to use positive dialogue and pledge not to use hurtful names on this designated day, to promote tolerance and respect for differences, and to reaffirm the commitment of the citizens of the Commonwealth to basic human rights and dignity.

On that day, the Governor is asking everyone to help spread the word and make this day a success by encouraging students to wear black on January 25th as sign of their commitment to “Black Out Bullying”. At our grade level rallies, we will be inviting students to take the "No Name Calling" Pledge.

We are encouraging all students and staff to wear black that day to reaffirm our commitment to promoting a positive and safe school climate.



Evening Events:
 
PTO meeting:  There will be a PTO meeting on Monday, January 30th at 6:30pm.  Babysitting is available.  Please remember every parent is a member of the PTO.   

Fifth Grade Parent Meeting:  There will be a fifth grade parent meeting regarding fifth grade activities on Monday, January 30th at 6:00pm.

Important Information:
January 16, 2012: Martin Luther King Day.  No school

January 23, 2012: Intersession Day (Staff Development) No school
