Quinn's fifth annual Literacy Night was a huge success with approximately 200 students in attendance. In the front hallway students were greeted by the Cat in the Hat and were able to take pictures, there was a Lorax Planting station, a One Fish-Two Fish Estimating station, green screen, making their own Oobleck, Cat in the Hat ball toss, paper bag puppets, stack the cat's hat, and more! The scholastic book fair was also open for families to preview and purchase books! The theme is Hungry Readers are Happy Campers! The Quinn 5th grade peer leaders volunteered their time at this event. They participated in All for Books which collects donations to purchase books for a local charity. The peer leaders chose a local homeless shelter to donate to. It was a fun night had by all and the Quinn staff thank all of you for coming!
